HEALTH PROMOTION AND
DISEASE PREVENTION

At MSH Peru, we work to enable more people to live healthy and fulfilling lives. We promote health by creating environments that facilitate healthy habits and social well-being, and we prevent disease through actions that reduce risks and strengthen early care.

We promote projects that address the social determinants of health and strengthen the capacities of staff and communities.

In addition, we have a virtual learning platform, developed in collaboration with MCD Global Health, offering self-paced courses on chronic diseases and COVID-19. Our modules cover the following topics:

  • Module 1: High blood pressure and hypertension
  • Module 2: Prediabetes and diabetes
  • Module 3: Cervical Cancer
  • Module 4: Breast Cancer
  • Module 5: Colorectal cancer
  • Module 6: Online training on chronic diseases and COVID-19
