LINES OF ACTION
Where purpose becomes work in the field.
Lines of Action
What are they?
These are the practical routes we use to bring health and wellbeing to communities: they combine methodology, technical assistance and local partnerships to build capacity, bring services closer and ensure measurable results that last over time.
How do they operate?
We work alongside families, local governments and partners to co-design, implement and sustain solutions that respond to the country’s diverse realities. These lines of action include: Health promotion and prevention, Water and sanitation, Health care for vulnerable populations, Governance and leadership, Social management and conflict prevention, and Monitoring and evaluation.
How do we do it?
Our Impact Lines
Health promotion and disease prevention
We create “Healthy Families and Communities” with tools tailored to each situation.
Water and sanitation
We train communities, through their JASSs, and local governments, through their ATMs, in the management, operation, and maintenance of their own water and sanitation systems.
Healthcare for vulnerable populations
We design and implement programmes to improve eye health and virtual learning platforms with information on the promotion and prevention of chronic diseases.
Governance and leadership
We want communities and local governments to participate actively in their development, for decisions to be transparent, and for there to be genuine accountability.
Social management and conflict prevention
We work to ensure that water and sanitation projects are carried out in an environment of trust, dialogue and respect.
Monitoring and evaluation
We ensure the timely completion of activities, work plans, and indicators for the projects and/or programmes implemented.
