Governance AND LEADERSHIP
At MSH Peru, we strengthen local governance and the leadership of decision-makers in the territory: community authorities, municipal officials and social leaders. We want communities to participate actively, decisions to be transparent, and true accountability to exist.
Through our local leadership and management development programmes:
In this way, we contribute to ensuring that water and sanitation systems function well today and are maintained over time, improving the health and quality of life of rural communities.
-
We strengthen the technical, organisational and personal capacities of municipal leaders and teams.
-
We promote participatory planning for territorial development.
- We promote the monitoring of healthy practices and addressing the determinants of health.
- We promote coordination between communities, municipalities, and other development actors.
In this way, we contribute to building more resilient and cohesive communities, where citizens exercise their rights and authorities lead with values, legitimacy and commitment to the common good.
